The FIRSTlife project is coordinated by the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the team is structured into 3 cooperating groups: the Management Board, responsible for overall supervision and management of the project, the Teaching Staff, responsible for the education process, and the Core Team, formed from students.

The Team will be fully supported by researchers and professionals from University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings, who have also taken part in US SD 2013.
The very important benefit for the team and the competition is the full integration to the process of education at Faculty of Civil Engineering.

The Czech Technical University in Prague already has very good experience with the participation in the Solar Decathlon competition. The CTU’s multidisciplinary team with AIR House took part in U.S. Solar Decathlon 2013 under leadership of Faculty of Architecture and have gained overall 3rd place.
